Montessori Global Teacher Education Institute (MGTEI) is an American Montessori Society (AMS) applicant affiliated.

In 2020 MGTEI applied for accreditation with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) for the I/T (0-3) and EC (2.5-6) certification courses, being considered a candidate in good standing.  Note: “Applicant for Accreditation” status in no way determines the outcome of the accreditation decision by MACTE.
