EDUCATING ADULTS TO EDUCATE CHILDREN
The MGTEI is committed to standards of excellence in the quality of the curriculum, the relationships of the staff with the adult learners, the professionalism of the staff and the overall aesthetic and social environment.
In 2017 MGTEI was established to fill a gap in the lack of Montessori teacher training in the East Central Florida area and in 2019 became a licensed corporation as an adult teacher training program. MGTEI is a private institution offering Montessori teacher certification in two programs with face-to-face academic courses: Infant/Toddler (0-3 years) and Early Childhood (2.5-6 years). The MGTEI training site and administration is located in the same facility as the Montessori Global Research Institute (MGRI) that has been under the Montessori headmasters since 2010. MGRI provides a quality developmental and educational experience for children from birth to twelve years. Located in Ormond Beach Florida, MGRI is fully licensed and insured, registered with the Florida Department of Education, a Florida Gold Seal school, and accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the National Accreditation Council (NAC). The facility has resource rooms, administrative offices, outdoor environments, and fully equipped model classrooms. The location is convenient to a variety of businesses and services, has pleasant weather, access to beaches, and close to many surrounding cities and natural resources.

The MGTEI in-residence training site and administration is located in the same facility as the Montessori Global Research Institute (MGRI), a Montessori bilingual school that has been under the present Montessori headmasters since 2010 and has a reputation for delivering high-quality Montessori education for children 6 weeks-18 years of age. The facility, a 6,000 square foot building, is located in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida. MGRI is a Gold Seal school, fully licensed, and accredited by and full affiliated with American Montessori Society (AMS) and accredited by the National Accreditation Council (NAC).
The in-residence courses have a model classroom, library/resource room, an administration office, and outdoor environment. The model classroom is fully equipped with Montessori and supplementary materials for the adult learner to practice. The area offers a variety of business and services, pleasant weather, easy access to the beaches, and other surrounding cities.
